Speed vs. Control: How Should the Hollow of your Blade be Handled?

Ice Hockey

When the hollow is shallow, the bottom of the blades are relatively flat, and you’re more likely to hydroplane along the ice (for more speed – ideal for Forwards). When the hollow is deeper, the blade will cut deeper into the ice (for more control).
